The DS-1 is a legendary pedal with over 40 years of history, having been introduced in 1978 as BOSS's first distortion. Sharp distortion and rich sustain are the very origins of distortion. It has supported many legendary guitarists. The DS-1W employs a newly designed full analog discrete 2-stage gain circuit designed by skilled engineers. In addition to the standard mode that gives you the sound that symbolizes distortion, there is also a custom mode that adds tuning to bring out its potential even further. While maintaining the sound character of the DS-1, you can obtain a powerful distortion sound in the midrange.
