Hello, The adapter gets very hot when I connect it to the mains. The output current is low enough to charge the device. The device charging also gets so hot that I have stopped using the adapter. It wasn't worth buying it. A few tens won't make you poor, but it doesn't meet what the seller describes in Joom. Have a good time Disappointed Customer
