This long umbrella was made by Makita Shoten, a long-established Koshu-ori umbrella fabric manufacturer with a history of over 150 years since the Edo period, using traditional yarn-dyed weaving techniques. With its good coloring and luster, it reflects the wearer's complexion attractively.
The fabric is woven using a yarn-dyed technique called Gunnai Orimono, and each piece is carefully manufactured one by one. Everything from weaving the fabric to sewing and assembling is made by craftsmen.
Checks, which have a somewhat nostalgic feel and also a sense of newness, have remained loved and loved by many people over time. Accented with colorful handles.
