Given the thickness of the package, the post office could have put it in the mailbox. Fortunately the carer who comes twice a week to take care of me, comes on Mondays and Friday afternoons so she brought me to collect the package. So finally arrived, I have now attached a film to the exterior mirror on the driver's side. Fits like a glove and is easy to put on. Sits, wobbles and has air. I have to see how it behaves in the rain when it rains. But if I splash water on it I can see that it drains immediately. But now comes a "unfortunately" .... the right outside mirror of my golf4 is smaller than the one on the driver's side. That's why I can't just put the foil on it. I have to cut it to size, I think that's stupid at first. The photos for this will follow

It went on easily and the tabs telling you which to take off first is really useful. I find it doesn't work as well as advertised or expected. The mirror in the area of this is better but not by much. It is definitely not as clear as shown in the advert. There is a noticeable difference between the mirror where this is applied and where it is not. It is not however completely clear of rain as expected. Bit disappointing.

The foil for the exterior mirrors is great and almost fills the mirrors of my X6. Now that I've had my first rides with foil and rain, my first impression has only been confirmed. The foil surface was practically free of any raindrops, which improved safety enormously.
