Commemorative product for the 40th anniversary of N gauge production planned in 2005. The ``N Gauge EF58'', which occupies a big place in the history of KATO and has been with us, is now available as a set of 4 of the test painting machines that appeared in preparation for the electrification of the Tokaido Main Line from 1955 to 1955. The appearance of each test painting machine at the time of its appearance (without nigiri stick, etc.) is faithfully reproduced with 4 types of special bodies and special trolleys. A low flange wheel is used for the front wheel. Reproduce the leading part even more realistically. Adopts a suspension mechanism (2nd and 5th driving wheels). You can enjoy stable running thanks to the power with a well-established flywheel. EF58-31: The entire vehicle is painted blue, and the front and rear hems are painted orange. EF58-16: The entire vehicle is painted blue with a yellow band around the hem of the vehicle. EF58-18: The paint color is almost the same as EF58-16, but details such as painting are different (along with EF58-16, it is the original color of express color: blue train color). EF58-4: The upper half of the car body is painted light green, the lower half is green, and a cream band is painted on the hem of the car body (the original blue general color).
