The harness kit consists of male and female connectors with additional resistance between them. A plug-and-play solution, no switches required. The thermometer still works and shows the engine temperature, the only difference is that it reads about half a point less at operating temperature.
*4 Resistance Options
Includes 68Ω/82Ω/100Ω/120Ω resistors (2 of each type) to match your components of vehicle's cooling system variations (thermostats, radiators) and local climate needs.
